The GIS Model Agreement should inform potential buyers and sellers of AAUs (assigned amount units) under green investment schemes. It should be read along with the EBRD GIS Manual (http://opencarbonworld.com/carbon-library/GIS%20Manual%20-version%201.0-%2016%20March%202009.pdf/view). which explains the legal issues involved with the sale and purchase of AAUs and explains the clauses of a model agreement. This document was developed in consultation with stakeholders and is a publicly available open source text.
